Yep, that's me today...again! This time I'm not busy with 'paid work...rather some "unpaid work" also known as 'household chores". Paid or unpaid...it has to be done.
I have started in our computer room which up to now is not yet set-up. We just got the computer table [just one] from the other house last weekend. The husband still has to set-up the computer on the table. I tidied up the room by moving the stuff that are still left on the floor so when he decides to set up the PC it would be easier to move around the room.
Then I went to the little one's bedroom. Her room is always needing a 'major overhaul' so to speak. Her toys are just in disarray all the time. Mind you, the room, rather the middle of the room and her bed are tidy. The mess are all on the side or in her closet. So I have to go in her closet to take out the mess. She also likes to cut a lot so majority of the mess will be paper cut-outs.
My next room to tackle would be our bedroom closet. I still have some boxes to unpack there so that's going to take a long time as well. Anyway, I have to get going...I can hear the little one playing in her bedroom right now so that means...I have some more to clean there already! Sigh...
My husband has small business that he’s running with a partner. It’s just the two of them most of the time but they still hit some snags every now and then. This is because neither of them actually took some training in managing a business. In time they want to expand which means employing other people. When that time comes, I would tell them about the lean
Six Sigma Training that they need to take. I know they need it because up until now, they still have not exhausted the full potential of their company. Through this training, they will be able to achieve and explore what their company is capable of. Now that I think about it, maybe they need to take this training right now even if it’s just the two of them. I'm sure they will benefit from this training a lot. This is indeed what every business needs...Six Sigma Training from Smarter Solutions!
Yep, that would be me! I think I'm coming down with a cold. Well, for me who has allergies and is sneezing 24/7, it's kinda' hard to tell whether it's going to be the normal cold or just part of my oh so normal allergy.
It's just that the back of my nose hurts and that's how I can usually tell it's going to be a cold. I'm still unsure though because I also felt this way last week but it didn't become a full-blown cold.
I guess I'll just wait and see. I already took my 'Allergy with Cold' medicine just in case. I just don't like how it feels to have them both so I'm trying to put a stop on it.
I guess this is the result of me turning in late for the last few nights. I'm just too occupied sometimes that I tend to forget the time. You see, I have to be in bed by 11 PM or else my allergies will act up. For the past 2 or 3 nights, I've been turning in after 11 so this is probably why I'm feeling this way. I just hope it goes away soon.
I better get some rest. I am hoping it will help make me feel a wee bit better.
Our old house has been in the market for a while now. Since it’s not selling yet, we decided to do some upgrades and repairs on it. My husband is planning in adding a room to it as well as upgrading the kitchen cabinets. A new paint job on it will make it more attractive to buyers. Since we don’t have a lot of budget for all these, we are looking for the most affordable deals we can find. This is how we found CollegeWorks Painting. It’s a company that has a 97% customer satisfaction rating. Now that is some rating. So if you are like us who want to make your house look beautiful inside and out, why not try College Works Painting. They even offer a 5% off a free No Obligation Painting Estimate Today.

I'm sorry for the title of this post but that's exactly how I felt and still feel after reading this
news article in Yahoo....disgusted!
It's about this creep who used the internet to prey on innocent kids. He was caught thank goodness. I am disgusted with what he did but what is more disgusting is his nerve to wear a shirt that says: World's Greatest Dad!...on the day that he thought he was going to meet a 14 year old for you know what. Sick piece of #@##!
He has a picture in the article but I'm not putting it here as I feel sick everytime I see his face. I cannot fathom why such people exist!!

I read and watch the news regularly. Last night in our local news here, one of the headlines is about obesity on children. There are a lot of factors that contribute to that. One of the things mentioned is the kind of food that students are eating nowadays…especially when they are in school. As a teacher myself, I’ve seen what kind of food is available to kids in school especially in those vending machines that is so readily available for the taking. Now there is a healthy choice for them –
YoNaturals - Healthy Student Vending. Yes, healthy snacks straight from the vending machines. So if you are a parent who wants to have healthy food available for your kid or kids in school, let the school know about this new healthy choice for your kids. That’s all it may take to start a healthy revolution in your kid’s life.
Hay...I have not been able to blog for a few days. I have been around but been busy with other things so my blogging is again taking a back seat.
Happy Wednesday to all. Here are some tags I got in my other blogs. Since I don't have much to post here, I decided to post some of them here. Sharing..ya know! Here we go.

On a lighter note...I got this email from a friend. I just thought it's funny that someone would think of putting up a sign like this one. Who could have put it up? Maybe someone who decided to stay home and drink instead of driving??? But that's just my guess though...
Gas price is still going up. It seems that it's not coming down anytime soon. There were a couple of times when we thought it would because a few gasoline stations around here reduced their prices for a few cents a gallon but it only lasted for A DAY! It's like a strip tease show.
Everytime I look at the grocery receipt, all I can do is cringe. We get fewer items but we spend more than we used to. We're still surviving but barely. So how about those other people who were bare surviving before all these price hikes started?
I just hope that things start to get better soon. If not, I may be forced to take drastic measures...go on a diet...
Seriously, I really hope that there is something that can be done to make the current situation better. Don't we all?
So I decided to get me a new pair of glasses. I already found a place where I can get them at a price I can afford…
ZenniOptical.com. They have frames for as low as $8. Around here, a frame goes for at least $50. So with that money I can get me about 6 stylish frames from Zenni Optical. Isn’t that amazing? This is probably why they now have
Zenni on Fox! Yes, they made it to the news. Why not? With all the soaring prices around, this place still sells their frames at prices we can all afford. Sweet! Here’s one of the frames they have.
